PRF EZ Gel in Manchester: What It Is, How It Works & What It Costs

If you've been searching for PRF treatment in Manchester or EZ Gel near you, you're far from alone, it's fast become one of the most requested treatments at Cheshire MediGlow. So what actually is it, who's it for, and what should you expect to pay? Here's everything you need to know.
What Is PRF EZ Gel?
PRF EZ Gel (also written as PRF/PRP bio-filler) is a natural alternative to synthetic dermal filler, made entirely from your own blood. Rather than injecting a manufactured substance, we draw a small blood sample, process it to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, then gently heat and cool the plasma to form a soft, natural gel. That gel is then injected to add volume, brighten skin and support your body's own regeneration with nothing synthetic involved.
It's part of our wider PRF & PRF Bio Filler treatment range at the clinic.
PRF vs PRP: What's the Difference?
Both PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) come from your own blood and are processed into bio-filler gel, but they differ slightly in how they're prepared. PRF tubes don't use a separation gel or anticoagulant, giving a fully natural fibrin matrix rich in platelets and growth factors. In practice, both are excellent options and during your consultation, we'll talk through which is the better fit for your skin and goals.
What Can PRF EZ Gel Treat?
The most popular use for PRF EZ Gel is the under-eye area, one of the hardest places to treat with traditional filler, since the skin is so thin and delicate. PRF EZ Gel is especially well suited here because it adds volume gently and naturally, without the risk of the puffiness or blue-grey tinge (the "Tyndall effect") that synthetic filler can sometimes cause under the eyes.
Beyond under-eyes, PRF EZ Gel is also used for:
Facial contouring - cheeks, jawline and other areas needing subtle volume
Fine lines and skin texture around the face
Overall skin rejuvenation, since the growth factors continue releasing for around seven days after treatment
You can read more about how we use PRF and PRP together for full facial rejuvenation on our PRP & PRF Facial Rejuvenation page.
What Does Treatment Involve?
Blood draw - a small sample taken into sterile PRP/PRF tubes
Centrifugation - separating the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells
Thermal processing - gently heating and cooling the plasma to form the gel
Injection - the warm gel is cooled to body temperature and injected using a fine needle or micro-cannula
We apply topical numbing cream beforehand, so discomfort is minimal throughout.
How Much Does PRF EZ Gel Cost?
Pricing depends on the area being treated:
Under-eye (tear trough) PRP/PRF bio-filler - from £220
Facial contouring (cheeks, jawline etc.) - from £280
Microneedling/mesotherapy full face and neck (PRP/PRF "Vampire Facial") - from £200
Full up-to-date pricing for all our treatments is available on our price list.
How Long Do Results Last?
Results can be visible after just one session, though the gel is gradually absorbed by the body over time, with the volume effect typically lasting 3–6 months per treatment. With repeated sessions, results can last significantly longer as your skin's own collagen and regenerative processes are supported over time.
